I think most of us can admit that we have let the location of a conference influence our attendance. If you have been waiting to attend ONS Congress, 2019 is definitely a year to consider! Congress 2019 will be held in beautiful Anaheim, California. With the local beaches, opportunities for innovative dining experiences, and, of course, Disneyland Resort, Anaheim is a perfect place to sample some of the highlights Southern California has to offer.

Anaheim has more than 2,500 places to eat and is sure to meet the needs for every taste. If you are looking for a nontraditional dining experience, you can consider one of our famous dinner theater options. Both Medieval Times and Pirate Dinner Adventure will provide you a unique experience. If you are looking for more variety, the Anaheim Packing District is a trendy food hall, which is packed with artisan eateries and serves everything from soul food to beer and waffles.

Anaheim Garden Walk is located just steps away from the Anaheim Convention Center and offers dining, family-friendly activities, shopping, and entertainment. One of the local favorites located in the Anaheim Garden Walk is Roy’s Restaurant, but if you are interested in a more casual eatery, you can visit the California Pizza Kitchen. Perhaps you are looking for some after-dinner entertainment? You will also find the House of Blues, which offers concerts and events throughout the week.

ONS Congress 2019 will be held during baseball season. Angel Stadium is family-friendly and serves up the famous “nachos in a hat.” The Angels will be playing April 4–10, and you can find out if they are playing your hometown team by going to their website and checking out the schedule. This is a perfect opportunity to catch a game before the start of Congress!
If you have never had an opportunity to take in a Southern California sunset at the Pacific Ocean, this may be your chance! Huntington Beach is one of the closest beaches to the convention center at just 15 miles away. The Huntington Beach Pier offers shopping, dining, and a unique nightlife.

Of course, we cannot forget to mention the world-famous Disneyland Resort, which is a magical place for kids ages 1–100! Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park provide entertainment and fun for the whole family. You will surely create memories that will last a lifetime.

We hope you enjoy your time in California at the 44th Annual ONS Congress. We look forward to growing together and transforming care with all of you!
