Are you just finishing up an oncology-related nursing research project?  If so, you have another opportunity to submit an abstract based on your recent work! Late-Breaking Research Abstracts allow researchers who could not submit completed research during the general abstract submission period to still have the chance to present at the ONS 45th Annual Congress in San Antonio, Texas!

Late-breaking research and industry-sponsored abstracts will be accepted from December 9th until January 9th. Your abstract will undergo a three-person, blinded peer review, and the top abstracts will be accepted for either an oral or ePoster presentation and published in the Oncology Nursing Forum. Notifications will be sent out in mid-February, so that you have time to prepare your presentation.

Just like with any research abstract, be sure to follow the abstract guidelines and include all the required information. It’s also good idea to have a colleague review your abstract before you submit it to make sure the abstract is clearly written, free of errors, and interpretable to others.

For additional information about how to submit a research abstract, visit congress.ons.org. If you have questions about the abstracts or submission process, please email absquestions@ons.org. We hope you will answer the call and share your Power, Passion, and Purpose with us during the 2020 ONS Congress!!
