Food, networking, and potential CNE? What could be a better combination than that? Symposia events at Congress are the perfect place to grab a bite to eat while meeting your oncology nursing peers and earning possible CNE contact hours.
What are symposia events?
Symposia events are industry-sponsored breakfast, lunch, and dinner programs held outside of the official Congress schedule and produced independently of ONS. This allows you to discover the latest treatment and symptom management options available from our industry supporters. Because these events fall outside of the official schedule, a separate registration through the online scheduler is required. Some events have limited seating available, so make sure you sign up early!
Can’t decide which events to attend?
Visit the Congress schedule and click on the industry-supported tab on the left-hand side.
There, you will see a complete listing of the industry-sponsored events at Congress. When you notice an event that interests you, click on the title to reveal the description. The title, time, date, and location will be displayed with a brief explanation of the event. This is also where you can find out whether or not the event offers CNE. Please remember that not all symposia events offer CNE, and for those that do, CNE is offered outside of the Congress evaluation.
Make sure you register for the event that you would like to attend. Adding the event to your schedule does not reserve your seat. If registration is required, you will see a registration notice and a link in the event’s description.
Symposia events are not only the perfect place to discover the latest innovations, but they are also a great opportunity to meet your peers and network with other attendees. The relationships that you create at symposia events can last well after Congress. Don’t miss out on the chance to grow together at these events. Check out the most up-to-date listing of available events and register for one today!
