Thank you for your dedication to oncology nursing. During this unprecedented time, you have remained resilient and mission-focused to advancing excellence in oncology nursing and quality patient care.

We recognize many of your projects may have been placed on hold or revised as urgent needs were addressed during this pandemic. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that late-breaking abstracts are being accepted in all categories this year. The submission period for late-breaking abstracts will be open from December 7, 2020 through January 7, 2021.

Late-breaking abstract submissions have been traditionally reserved for research and industry-supported abstracts. This option accommodated submission of the most current information and research findings, which may have not been complete during the general abstract submission period. If you have projects that were delayed or you could not meet the general abstract submission deadline, you have another chance to submit!

Follow the abstract guidelines and include all of the required information. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and scored. Be aware of the abstract word limit and check for grammar and spelling. It’s a good idea to ask trusted colleagues to read over your abstract and provide feedback and helpful edits!

For more information and directions on how to submit, visit the Abstract Information page. If you have questions about the abstracts or the submission process, email conferences@ons.org.

We sincerely hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to submit a late-breaking abstract. It’s one more way to be a Catalyst for Innovative Care as we move forward into 2021!
