Are you prepared to navigate ONS Congress™ as a first-time attendee? Perhaps, it has been a while since you attended? Do not fret: Congress 101 is back to prepare you to navigate all things ONS Congress! There will be two session offerings, with the first occurring on Wednesday, April 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in Room 302 of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and a repeat session on Thursday, April 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 am, in the same location.

The ONS Congress Content Planning Team will be leading these sessions to give you in-depth, expert views on how to select, organize, and attend sessions that will be meaningful to you while maximizing your ONS Congress footprint. Topics to be covered include using the ONS Congress mobile app and obtaining nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours.

Maybe you are wanting to get the most of your individual learning needs assessment (ILNA) points to renew your Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation–issued credential or you are geared toward maximizing your institution’s patient education resources.  This session will also help you align your ONS Congress goals with focused session attendance. In addition to hearing about a myriad of track-based content sessions, come learn about other facets of ONS Congress such as activities taking place in the Learning Hall like roundtable discussions and career opportunities.

On behalf of the 2020 ONS Congress Content Planning Team, we are excited to connect with both first-time and repeat attendees as we embark on the journey of power, passion, and purpose in historic San Antonio, Texas, the first civilian settlement in Texas. Register by March 12 to save with early-bird pricing.
