Will this be your first time at ONS Congress? Or maybe you haven’t been in a while? Then Congress 101 is for you. This session will prepare you for the exciting journey toward advancing your oncology profession. We will kick off the session with the ONS Congress outcomes and goal. ONE NURSE. ONE MOMENT. ONE ACTION. What is your one moment that impacted you as an oncology nurse?
Congress can be overwhelming; attending Congress 101 will help you develop a plan to enhance learning. This session will guide you through Congress navigation and review the schedule, learning hall activities, poster sessions and special events as well as resources for Individual Learning Needs Assessment (ILNA). The planning team has been collaborating for a year to provide you with the most up to date education and networking opportunities that will propel your professional growth forward while providing strategies to enhance your own self-care such as Wake Your Warrior Yoga. Planning ahead will allow you a meaningful experience and ensure that you have time for your own personal self-care and even some fun!
You can prepare for Congress 101, by downloading the Congress App ahead of time and bring your Congress Guide that you receive at registration. Your Congress Planning team will walk you through the Congress App so that you are ready to plan your schedule, understand how to use the Live Poll, access E-posters, network with your peers and how to complete you evaluations.
We are offering sessions from 4–5 pm on Wednesday May 16, and 6:30–7:30 am on Thursday May 17.
