Louis-Armstrong-Airport is approximately 13 miles (approximately 20-25 minutes) from the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel /New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Upon arrival at the airport go to baggage claim for shuttle/taxi service.

Taxi Cost: approximately $33/one way for 2 attendees; approximately $14/one way for 3 or more attendees

Car Rental: Discounted rates are available to Congress attendees through Hertz.

Remember, you must register for Congress before you can take advantage of the discounted hotel rates. Once you register, you will receive detailed information on how to make your room reservations.

Housing Registration

ONS has secured discounted hotel rates for Congress attendees. The deadline to receive the reduced rates is April 2, 2012, so make your reservations now, as all hotel requests are processed on an availability basis.*

Remember, you must register for Congress prior to registering for your hotel. This will ensure that registered attendees get preference when booking their rooms.  For best availability and immediate confirmation, register for Congress now. Requests received via fax or mail may take longer to process.

Once you register for Congress, you will receive an attendee housing code that will allow you to can take advantage of discounted hotel rates.  If you register online, you will immediately receive a confirmation receipt containing the attendee housing code. If you register by phone, a customer service representative will give you your attendee housing code. If you register via fax or mail, ONS Customer Service will e-mail you with your attendee housing code.

Remember, the deadline for the hotel discount is April 2, 2012, so register early to reserve your room.  Also, please note that ONS Customer Service is unable to process housing requests. You will need to work directly with the housing bureau or reserve a room on your own.
