The Top 10 Redux

The late Rose Mary Carroll-Johnson, MN, RN, then editor of the Oncology Nursing Forum (ONF), and Deborah K. Mayer, PhD, RN, AOCN®, FAAN, editor of the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing (CJON), launched a project early in 2010 to identify the 10 most frequently accessed articles from both journals. Editorial board members were asked to rank the articles according to relevance, strength, and overall appeal to promote excellence in cancer nursing and quality cancer care. At the July 2011 combined editorial board meeting, the boards felt it was important to continue the project to determine trends and use the findings for planning purposes.
