Support Your Profession at the ONS Foundation Booth

The ONS Foundation has plenty going on in New Orleans. Be sure to stop by its booth to find out how it can help you advance your career and how your donations can support oncology nurses and the patients they serve.

• ONS Foundation /Pfizer Oncology Fun Run/Walk & Wheelchair: Get some exercise and fresh air in the Big Easy while supporting a good cause. This year's event will be held at 6:30 am on Saturday, May 5. The race will start/end near the World Trade Center (located at intersection of Canal Street and Convention Center Boulevard). Registration fee covers race entrance, refreshments, and a souvenir t-shirt.
  Register on-site for $30 at the Pfizer Oncology Booth #1709 in the Exhibit Hall.
• ONS Foundation Booth Games and Activities:
• Stop by the booth and take a chance on our daily raffle. We've got gift cards, an iPad, Vera Bradley sets, and much, much more. Plus, proceeds from your involvement support the charitable mission of the Foundation—serving oncology nurses through scholarships, grants, and awards.
• Book Signing: Keynote speaker Brenda Elsagher will be available immediately after Opening Ceremonies to sign her books. Books can be purchased at a discount with a portion of proceeds benefiting the ONS Foundation.
• Show your creative side – Create a Mardi Gras mask – Individuals who stop by and make a charitable donation will have the opportunity to decorate a mask. All masks will be displayed and entered into the "best of" competition. The top 2 masks in the categories of prettiest, scariest, and most creative will win a prize.
• Passport – Find your passport to care in your registration bag, follow the directions, get your passport stamped and return to our booth for a prize.
• Financial Planning Sessions: It's never too early to start planning for the future. Learn more about basic financial planning and estate planning through ONS Foundation-sponsored sessions.
