I think it’s about time to discuss the wonderful places to relax and grab some food to refuel during your adventures in San Antonio.
If you are heading to the San Antonio River Walk, there are over 150 places to eat or grab a drink. Having so many choices makes it hard to decide where to stop, so I’ll help you narrow it down with a few local favorites. If you’re in the mood for Italian, a wonderful choice is Paesanos. Their food is made with fresh, locally-grown ingredients and is delicious. If anyone out there is looking for a good Bar-B-Q spot, then The County Line is the place to go. You can enjoy a drink at the open-air bar or eat inside the restaurant which has a Texas roadhouse atmosphere. Rio Rio Cantina is also an amazing choice if you’re looking for some Tex-Mex food.
If you find yourself in the historic Market Square just a few blocks from the convention center, then be on the lookout for restaurants serving some delicious Tex-Mex favorites. Mi Tierra Restaurant and Bakery is open all year, 24 hours a day. They have live Mariachi bands that would love to play songs per your request. And if you’re craving a yummy margarita, La Margarita Mexican Restaurant and Oyster Bar is the place for you. While you’re there, don’t forget to try some of their sizzling fajitas.
These are just a few of the amazing restaurants San Antonio has to offer so don’t be afraid to explore our wonderful city!
