Life is busy and your time is valuable. Between juggling your career, caring for your family, and pursuing your hobbies and interests that bring you joy, you might think “I can’t fit one more thing into my schedule!”

Taking a week away from your jam-packed schedule to attend an in-person professional conference may not always be possible, but you still want to invest in your own professional growth as an oncology nurse. ONS Bridge™ is the right conference for you!

ONS Bridge is a 100% virtual conference that is conducted LIVE with real-time presentations and Q&A with our expert session faculty. Structured into three conference days, September 9, 14, and 16, 2021, spaced out over a week, you can join in on live sessions that fit your schedule. Can’t make it to a live session? No problem! ONS Bridge includes the unique benefit of continued access to recorded sessions in an on-demand library for you to watch (or re-watch!) when it is convenient for you.

The virtual conference experience offers the benefits of hearing passionate and innovative experts discuss relevant issues in today’s oncology care landscape, but with the added convenience of joining in when (and where) it works best for you. Here are a few tips to help make your virtual conference experience great.

  1. Review the agenda and make a plan: Build your personalized conference agenda by highlighting sessions that you don’t want to miss, and consider if there are certain topics that you want to be sure to catch live to interact with the presenters during Q&A.
  2. “Schedule” your own conference: Can’t make a live session and don’t want to miss out? Make an appointment on your personal calendar to view an on-demand session you missed.
  3. Consume content creatively: Sipping coffee in the morning on a day off? Watch an on-demand session! Long commute on the train into work? Check out the Exhibit Hall! Road trip or cross-country flight? Pass the time while you invest in your professional growth!
  4. Connect with colleagues: Join in the conversation and make new connections on the ONS Bridge discussion board. Start a discussion about that great session and seek additional suggestions or resources from your oncology nursing colleagues from across the country.
  5. Bring it home: Find other nurses at your institution or from your local ONS Chapter who also plan to attend ONS Bridge and schedule time to meet up and discuss what you’re learning. Make a group-text to share feedback and let others know about great content and resources you’ve found.

Your time is a precious resource. ONS Bridge is the conference that gives you the content you want and the flexibility you need. Invest in yourself, register today and join us this September!
